This is a one-semester course taught in 1x2 lessons per week.

The objective of the course is to develop and consolidate language skills in students so that they will be able to pass the compulsory exam in English B2 level in the next exam period.
The course focuses on practicing excercises of which the exam consists (listening, reading, use of English and writing), enhancing appropriate vocabulary and preparation of the speaking part of the exam - text selection, interpretation and translation.

The course aims to develop language and communication skills so that students can successfully pass the English language exam at B2 level.
By the end of the course, students should ideally be able to speak fluently about topics in their field of study and use appropriate English language terms, express the content of academic texts in their own words, write a shorter, appropriately structured academic text in which they develop several ideas and defend their point of view, distinguish and apply informal and formal styles in written communication, and choose appropriate English language words.
