Annotation -
The aim of this course is to introduce students to fundamental concepts and principles of multidimensional data analysis. It also focuses on cultivating practical application skills, particularly with regard to the appropriate use of various methodological approaches in relation to research questions (such as identifying hidden variables, classification, testing causal hypotheses, and modeling). The course emphasizes a user-oriented perspective, and seminars are designed to provide practical training in the application of selected methods and the interpretation of results.

Overview of Topics:

1. Limitations of Bivariate Analysis and Challenges in Causal Interpretation of Correlations
2. Classification of Multidimensional Analysis Techniques (R, Q) and Their Applications
3. Modeling and Epistemological Issues
4. Multiple Regression
5. Logistic Regression and Generalized Linear Models
6. Factor Analysis
7. Cluster and Discriminant Analysis
8. Correspondence Analysis
9. Multidimensional Scaling
