The main purpose of this online education is to ultimately reduce the health, social and economic problems associated with risky behaviors by sharing information on the most effective evidence-based interventions and prevention strategies, professionalizing prevention professional standards, and increasing the professional capacity of prevention professionals. It disseminates information included in the International Standards for the Prevention of Drug Use, the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) and in the European Drug Prevention Quality Standards (EDPQS), the European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction (EMCDDA) and others in the prevention of different types of risk behaviour. The original curriculum is a curriculum in the prevention of addictive behaviour, but we have adapted it so that the training module is generally applicable to all major types of risk behaviour. INEP can serve well to increase the knowledge of prevention professionals moving in the prevention of all types of risk behaviors.
