Annotation -
The aim of the course is to introduce the conditions and principles for the selection, preparation, elaboration and defence of a bachelor thesis (emphasis on formal and methodological aspects). Students also map the conceptual, disciplinary, methodological, organizational and mental hygiene pitfalls of the thesis. The proseminar also includes continuous updating of the requirements for a quality BP and their possible changes (updating of citation standards, adjustments of the study organization, etc.).
Knowledge gained: The student is oriented in the process of processing the bachelor thesis, knows its key points and understands their function in the whole process; is able to identify both the formal and procedural requirements of processing the bachelor thesis and its methodological issues; knows the range of topics for processing within the bachelor thesis; identifies the pitfalls that may occur in the process of processing the bachelor thesis; is inspired by the experience and feedback from the work of colleagues in previous years; is familiar with the method of evaluation of bachelor theses and the course of defences.
Acquired skills: the student is able to search for specific data for the preparation of the bachelor thesis in available sources; the student is able to distinguish which information he/she obtains on his/her own and which and at what point he/she obtains it in consultation with the supervisor of the bachelor thesis; the course thus optimizes the use of resources in the student-teacher cooperation; the student is able to independently schedule the work on the bachelor thesis in all essential stages.
Course content: basic characteristics of bachelor theses in the field of psychology; topics of bachelor theses and the way of their elaboration; content and organizational context of bachelor thesis assignments; bachelor thesis defense as the first step towards the completion of bachelor studies

Course completion requirements -

70% participation in the seminar, elaboration of a detailed annotation of the bachelor's project based on consultation with the supervisor, who signs the project proposal (3-4 standard pages), which is also the basis for the submission of the bachelor's thesis assignment and for the attestation, which is awarded by the course guarantors in the announced terms
