Cílem semináře je systematicky uspořádat znalosti latinské fonologie a morfologie načerpané při výuce latinského jazyka a při práci s texty v bakalářském studiu, představit fonologický a morfologický systém latiny jako celek, uvést je do kontextu dalších indoevropských jazyků a postihnout jejich vývoj od indoevropského prajazyka po pozdní latinu.

Tematické okruhy:
• Indoevropský hláskový systém.
• Vývoj latinského fonologického systému od nejstarších fází po pozdní latinu.
• Indoevropská jmenná a zájmenná flexe. Akcentovo-ablautová paradigmata.
• Historie flexe substantiv latinské 1.-5. deklinace.
• Latinská adjektiva; kategorie stupňování.
• Definice a klasifikace latinských zájmen. Zájmenná flexe a její charakteristika.
• Indoevropský slovesný systém.
• Kategorie vidu, času, rodu, způsobu, osoby a čísla v latině.
• Latinské perfektum.
• Mimoparadigmatické archaické slovesné formy.
• Neurčité slovesné formy.
• Přehled nejvýznamnějších latinských slovotvorných typů.

Účast na přednáškách a seminářích je povinná a je podmínkou udělení atestace (nejméně 70%).
