COURSE OBJECTIVE:
Students should become familiar with advanced medical terminology. At the end of the course they should be able to better understand medical texts with reduced dependency on medical dictionaries.
In addition, students will master the skill of opening an interview with a patient and taking a medical history, focusing on the patient's chief complaints.
Finally, students will gain confidence using selected, often complicated, grammar structures, which should enable them to deal with more demanding sentences. |
