Dental Implants - indication, examination, treatment plan, types of abutment, materials, cement-retained, screw-retained, friction-retained prostheses on implants General properties of materials use in prosthetic dentistry, main materials: metal and metal free materials, materials for impression. The new age of prosthetic dentistry. No post, no crowns, mini-invasive preparation, new materials for CAD/CAM technology, (PEEK, Trilor, G-CAM, etc.) Resin bonded fixed dental prostheses, single or two abutment design, cantilever design, etched metal, etched ceramics, retention (undercuts, micromechanical retention, and grooves), chairside procedures. All ceramic restoration. (Indications, working procedures) Treatment plan in prosthetic dentistry. History taking, clinical examination, principal of occlusion, periodontal consideration, combination of implants and teeth abutments. Luting agents and cementation procedures. Classic and CAD/CAM produced overlays and crowns. Removable dentures, retainers for partial dental prostheses, treatment plan, clasp and attachment support, bracing, reciprocal elements, … Overdentures, periodontal receptors, PEEK, telescope and cone crown as abutment. Complete denture, plan, consultation, examination, two ways-classic and CAD/CAM, centric relation record, facebow technique, acrylic resin record base - relining and rebase. Lectures: Aesthetic rules in prosthetic dentistry. Immediate fixed and removable dentures. Prevention of possible harmful effects. Management of teeth and jaws before the prosthetic treatment, interdisciplinary cooperation. Fixed dentures - teeth preparation, management of gingival sulcus in fixed dentures, impact of periodontal protective zone during denture manufacturing, impression technique and impression materials.
