In this course we will present theoretical framework for learning from text and reading comprehension as well as relevant findings of educational research in this area. Further, we will concentrate on translating theoretical constructs and research findings into every-day school practice for developing student comprehension strategies and literacy skills in general. Learning from text is important competence relevant for any subject-area and we will present the topic in its cross-curricular relations.

Cílem kurzu je seznámit studenty s teoretickými východisky porozumění textu a učení z textu a s výsledky mezinárodních výzkumů v této oblasti. Kurz bude dále zaměřen na možnosti praktického využití teoretických poznatků ve školní praxi k rozvoji čtenářských dovedností žáků jako základu rozvoje práce s textem a porozumění textu napříč vyučovacími předměty či vzdělávacími oblastmi.
