The aim of this seminar is to ask questions about the means by which the object opens the way to hidden emotions and see aspects of emotionality and intuition (cathartic release) linked to the theme of personal past as an acknowledged source of inspiration. There is a growing need among women artists for a connection to a wider order, for internal personal structures (grids) influencing the existential search.
We will also ask what form this increased sensitivity and engagement with found, experimental and recycled materials takes. We will look at the aspect of imperfection and unstructuredness and the heightened perception of the creative process as an expression of personal voice/story. Related to this are the themes of body imprints and the trace of time, i.e. the identity and sensuality of the haptic experience informing us about our existence in the "here and now". The use of skin, husk, membrane, bark, tissue etc. as the clash of the inner with the outer is also a reaction to an anthropocentric and masculine worldview. Together with the use of layering, hanging, burning, piercing, stitching of unconventional and "meaningless" materials (to evoke a personal connection with the viewer) it creates a gesture rejecting the perfection of the monolithic masterpiece on a pedestal (a masculine construct of fixed visual identity).

Cílem předmětu rozvoj komunkační kompetence v anglckém jazyce, mluveného i psaného vyjadřování ve formálním stylu, pochopení vybraných konceptů z oblasti umění a vizuální kultury a osvojení a používání vhodné slovní zásoby na úrovni B2/C1.
Cílem kurzu je hledání na otázky, jakými prostředky objekt otevírá cestu ke skrytým emocím, viz aspekty emocionality, intuice (katarzní uvolnění) spojené s tématem osobní minulosti jako přiznaným zdrojem inspirace. Roste potřeba umělkyň po spojení s širším řádem, po vnitřních osobních strukturách (grids) ovlivňujících existenciální hledání.
Další otázky, které si budeme klást: jakou formu má zvýšená citlivost a angažovanost s nalezenými, experimentálními a recyklovanými materiály. Budeme sledovat aspekt nedokonalosti a nestrukturovanosti a zesílené vnímání tvůrčího procesu jako vyjádření osobního hlasu/příběhu. S tím souvisejí témata otisků těla a stopy času, tedy identity a sensuality haptické zkušenosti informující nás o existenci „tady a teď“. Použití kůže, slupky, blány, kůry, tkáně atd. jako místa střetu vnitřního s vnějším je také reakce na antropocentrický a mužský pohled na svět a spolu s používáním vrstvení, věšení, pálení, propichování, sešívání netradičních a „bezvýznamných“ materiálů (k navození osobní vazby s divákem) je gestem odmítajícím dokonalost monolitického mistrovského díla na piedestalu (mužský konstrukt fixní vizuální identity).
