Practicals
Students completing 16 practical exercises focusing on the following topics:
Transfusion Medicine (1 practical):
Students will visit the Transfusion Department of the University Hospital, where they will learn about the basics of transfusion medicine, they will deal with issues related to blood donation, as well as the preparation and indications for the administration of blood derivatives and transfusion products.
During the practicals in the haematology clinic, students will learn about the most common haematological diseases, their diagnosis and principles of therapy.
During the practicals on the topic of diabetes, students will learn about the practical procedures for the care of patients with diabetes.
During the rheumatology practicals, students will be presented with model cases of rheumatologic diseases to demonstrate basic diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
Practicals on general internal medicine will be conducted in all standard departments of internal medicine clinics or in the departments of individual teachers. During the practicals, students will focus on clinical examination, ancillary test results, differential diagnosis and therapeutic procedures.
During the practicals in the Occupational Medicine Clinic, students will learn about occupational diseases and occupational medicine.
During the ABCDE approach practical students will learn the procedure of patient examination, which is essential for saving human life. Technical skills (1 practical)
During the Technical Skills practicals, students will practice basic procedures that are performed in internal medicine. |
