1. Objective analysis and prognosis of meteorological elements fields. Relationships between dynamic and thermodynamic elements characterizing the state of the atmosphere. Baroclinic effects from the point of view of the synoptic interpretation and in connection with atmospheric circulation and temporal changes of the pressure and temperature fields. Meteorological fields in pressure highs and lows, in the frontal zones and in the intensive advection areas. 2. Ageostrofic wind interpretation, ageostrofic divergence and vorticity. 3. Utilization of computers in analysis and prognostic process. Assimilation process, its use in the weather prognosis.
