To gain theoretical and practical knowledge of the anatomic structure of the urogenital organs, the peripheral and central nervous systems, the special senses, and the skin. Lectures in neuroanatomy involve the macroscopic and also microscopic structure of the nervous tissues, the connections among various individual areas in the CNS and their clinical correlation. The teaching of topographic anatomy during dissection classes emphasizes the three-dimensional understanding of the human body, and it is supplemented by a course in manual dissection skills. Lectures of visiting clinicians are interjected to enhance the understanding of various subjects and also to motivate the students.

Získání teoretických i praktických znalostí anatomické stavby močopohlavního systému, periferního a centrálního nervového systému, smyslových orgánů a kůže. Neuroanatomie zahrnuje makroskopickou i mikroskopickou stavbu, spoje jednotlivých struktur CNS a klinický korelát.

Conditions and notes
Credit: Credit will be given to the student who fulfilled his/her attendance and has passed required examinations in individual systems.
1) Standards of study results: Summarizing review in form of written credit test is mandatory. To pass, it is necessary to get at least mark “good”. Students are eligible for two attempts in case of failure. Unexcused absence results in “no pass” grade, excused leave has no effect, student resits for test at next announced term. Microtests and random oral examination on systematic and topographic anatomy during labs belong to standards of study results as well. Those students, who did not reach at least 60% of study proficiency, have to take a test reviewing topics of given semester. This is represented by 1 question per separate lab topic, not regarding student´s proficiency at any lab. Students are eligible for two attempts of that re-test. Passing the evaluation of topographic dissection (oral examination on dissected body, quality of dissection and submitting a picture of the selected area) belongs to standards for getting credit at the end of summer semester. Standards for re-examination of dissections are the same as for previous tests. Exceptional cases (e.g., long term absence due to disease) will be decided by the Head of Department after consultation with assistant leading the given study group.
2) Attendance:Theoretical and practical teaching is compulsory for students. In practical (systematic) classes, two excused absences (with microtest replacement) and the one "sick day" (SD) without microtest replacement are allowed. Two excused absences and the one SD (both without compensation) are also allowed in topographic anatomy (dissection). Excuses (medical reports) must be delivered by students as soon as possible. Late arrival to practical classes (the delay) disqualifies the test ("failed" classification) without the possibility of replacing the microtest (and is counted in the overall evaluation). In the case of late delivery of the medical report or unexcused early withdrawal from labs, the student has to automatically take a re-test (reviewing topics of the summer semester) to receive credit from SS. An unexcused absence is a reason for not granting credit. The Head of the Department decides exceptional reasons for non-fulfilment of the attendance criteria.
Examination: Final examination is oral and can be taken after obtaining both required credits. Students are eligible for a regular (the 1st) and two further attempts (resits/retakes). After getting credits, student applies for examination via SIS. Cancellation of registration is possible via SIS in advance according to set time interval. All registered students come at the same time (usually at 8,00 and 10,00 a.m.). Detailed instructions used to be announced by Department of Anatomy before beginning of examination period.
In case of an exceptional situation, e.g., long-term distant teaching, the guarantor of anatomy subject is authorized (after agreement with the Head of Department) to ease or adjust in other way the criteria of attendance and study results as well.
