| The course is intended for beginners, "non-skiers" and advanced skiers. For students of FTVS UK, it is a suitable preparation for the mandatory course Theory and Fundamentals of Skiing Didactics PSPP422 (PSPP422K). After successful completion, there is an opportunity to apply for credits (subject PSPP057). The course is focused on practicing basic movement skills on downhill and cross-country skis. It is intended for all students and interested parties who have minimal experience with downhill and cross-country skiing. The course can also be attended by skilled skiers who are interested in improving their skiing skills and moving to the next level in their skiing ability. | |

| 26.1.2026 Course start, explanation of the course program and 1st theoretical lecture 27.1. – 29.1.2026 During the day, practice of downhill and cross-country skiing techniques, stopping and subsequent practice of turns, teaching skating (single and double-stroke running) and classics (alternating running, counter-attack), adjustment of students' riding techniques, preparation of materials for the evening video analysis. 30.1.2026 Verification of basic movement skills on downhill and cross-country skis. 31.1.2026 departure Mandatory equipment: downhill and cross-country equipment (skis, poles, goggles, helmet), writing utensils, notepad Price includes: course fee, accommodation and full board Price does not include: transport, ski pass (according to the current ski resort price list https://www.skiresort.cz/informace/nabidka-pro-skoly/cenik-skolnich-skipasu-pro-zimni-sezonu/), recreation fee (25 CZK/day) When purchasing, please use the "NOTE" field and let us know whether you are a "BEGINNER" or "ADVANCED". |
