Programme profile:	The course is intended for those interested in Latin from among the general public who have already learned this language and know its basics - especially the tenses of regular verbs in the present active, the verb sum, esse and the declension of nouns 1.-2. declination. The course is based on reading the textbook Lingua latina per se illustrata (Familia Romana) in the range of roughly 6-10. chapters of the first volume. In this way, students will become familiar with the binding of local names, with the bases of the irregular verbs eō, īre, with other forms of demonstrative and interrogative pronouns, and with nouns of the 3rd declension. The reading with explanations of the grammar used is complemented by Latin quotations and songs.
