The aim of the course is to introduce participants to aerobic, strengthening and dance forms of exercise in shallow and deep water. An aerobic aqua-fit program, water running, high-intensity interval training and strength training with specialized equipment (e.g. dumbbells, gloves, cuffs, swimming tube) will be introduced.

Based on the acquired knowledge and skills, candidates will be able to create different exercise units involving different forms of exercise in water. Applicants will become familiar with the technical nomenclature, the breakdown of the training unit and master the basic elements of aqua-aerobics in different depths of water, including their modifications.

After completing the course, candidates will be able to lead group lessons taking into account the age and health status of the trainees. They will be able to lead a lesson fluently in accordance with the music, connect exercises and coordinate movement and exercises with verbal and non-verbal explanations.

After graduation, FTVS UK students can apply for recognition of credits for the course Aqua-fitness - PPLS135.
