Guidelines

Student se seznámí s modelem lineární regrese se zaměřením na modely s transformovanou odezvou. Následně různými způsoby a za různých předpokladů odvodí intervalové odhady jak pro střední hodnotu, tak nové pozorování původní netransformované veličiny. V krátké simulační studii si student ověří, zda navrhované intervalové odhady dodržují předepsanou pravděpodobnost pokrytí.

Preliminary scope of work in English

Student will learn about linear regression models with a focus on models with transformed response. Student will then derive interval estimates for both the mean and new observations of the original untransformed variable in various ways and under various assumptions. In a short simulation study, student will verify whether the proposed interval estimates comply with the prescribed coverage probability.
