Preliminary scope of work
Student vypracuje podrobnou rešerši novodobých přístupů určování hmotnosti horninových objektů na povrchu planet. K tomu účelu změří hmotnosti 5 valounů a u několika vybraných pomocí fotografií z mnoha směrů určí objem těchto objektů. Dále urči složení hornin pomoci rentgenové fluorescence (XRF).
Preliminary scope of work in English
Student will provide a detailed literature summary of evaluation of rock masses on planetary surfaces. Student would measure mass of 5 rock pebbles and than perform their imaging from various direction. Set of these images would be used to generate 3D model of the pebbles. Density of these pebbles would be derived from X-ray fluorescence measurements.
