Preliminary scope of work
Cílem práce je syntéza potenciálních inhibitorů fosfatidylinositol 4-kináz (PI4K) patogenních hub na bázi substituovaných kondenzovaných heterocyklů. Pomocí metod organické syntézy budou připravena vhodná heterocyklická jádra, která budou později modifikována příslušnými substituenty na základě literatury. Součástí BP bude rešeršní práce na téma inhibice PI4K různých patogenů, syntetická činnost v laboratoři, izolace a purifikace sloučenin, strukturní analýza izlovaných sloučenin (NMR, HPLC, MS), studium literatury, a prezentace výsledků na seminářích skupiny.
Preliminary scope of work in English
Aim of this Bachelor thesis is a synthesis of potential inhibitors of phosphatidyl 4-kinases (PI4K) of fungal pathogens. Target inhibitors will have fused hetrocyclic core with suitable modifications according to the literature. Student will also write a short review on PI4K inhibition in various pathogens, will be a part of the research team, will learn how to isolate, purify and analyze organic compounds (NMR, HPLC, MS), will study the literature and will present the obtained results during the lab meetings.
