Preliminary scope of work

Pajasan žlaznatý je významnou invazní rostlinou, jehož severní hranice rozšíření ve střední Evropě zřejmě v současnosti probíhá Českem. Cílem práce bude shrnout poznatky o jeho ekologii a identifikovat pravděpodobné faktory, které omezují jeho šíření. Pajasan je dvoudomou rostlinou, je proto možné, že každé z pohlaví bude limitováno jinak.

Preliminary scope of work in English

Tree of heaven is an invasive species which heavily affects the ecosystems it colonizes. In the central Europe, the current northern frontier of its spread is probably situated in Czechia. The thesis should summarise the current knowledge about the species and try to identify the factors that limit its spread (if any). The species is dioecious, so male and female individuals might be limited by different factors.
