Preliminary scope of work |
Navrhovaný Ph.D. projekt bude zaměřen na studium pozdně variských vulkano–plutonických komplexů a jejich význam pro interpretaci post–orogenních tektonických procesů. Náplň práce bude zahrnovat strukturní a geochronologický výzkum svrchně korových plutonů, lakolitů a přívodních drah vulkanických komplexů v krušnohorském saxothuringiku. V rámci tohoto projektu bude v detailu zpracováno několik případových studií: (1) první oblast představuje svrchně karbonská kaldera Thrandtského lesa a její deskovitá žilná tělesa; (2) dále se bude projekt věnovat deformačním stavbám mladých magmatických pulzů svrchně karbonského až spodně permského plutonu Smrčiny/Fichtelgebirge. (3) V případě přijetí podaného bilaterálního česko-ruského projektu GAČR bude rovněž studium rozšířeno na vybrané karbonské granitoidní horniny v oblasti uralského orogenu. Orogenní pásmo Uralid vzniklo kontinentální kolizí během amalgamace Pangey, a tudíž představuje analogii k variským horotvorným pochodům, jež zformovaly Český masív. Ve všech těchto magmatických komplexech budou použity následující metody: detailní terénní mapování, strukturní výzkum, analýza anizotropie magnetické susceptibility (AMS) a anisotropie remanentní magnetizace (ARM), doplněná o kvantifikaci magnetické mineralogie. Vybrané vzorky pak budou ve spolupráci s Geologickým ústavem AV ČR datovány metodami U-Pb na zirkonech. Tento doktorský projekt si klade za cíl vytvořit moderní interpretace a obecný geologický model pro magmatismus a tektonické pochody těsně spjaté s, a navazující na kolaps variského orogenu během svrchního karbonu. |
