Guidelines |
These days, NoSQL (Not Only SQL) databases is an important topic. With the advent of Web 2.0 and software-as-a-service, there is a growing need for scalability, and this is driving the adoption of NoSQL databases.
The aim of this thesis is to compare some ready-to-use NoSQL solutions to well-known SQL databases. The author will select a representative number of both kinds of solutions and identify a set of requirements. He will then compare the solutions against these requirements. There will also be an experimental part of the thesis. The author will implement a sample application using both an SQL and NoSQL solution and will demonstrate the differences experimentally. |
