| Diplomová práce se zabývá kulturně historickým pozadím vzniku božích muk a jejich funkcí. Kamenosochařské a architektonické objekty jsou zkoumány z hlediska uměleckého, urbanistického a kultovního významu. Na základě terénní výzkumu, který je vymezen okresy Pardubice, Chrudim, Ústí nad Orlicí a Svitavy, autor vytvoří typologii božích muk v předmětném kraji a zhodnotí jejich stavebně-historický vývoj. Práce se rovněž zabývá ikonografií dochované výzdoby božích muk. Výsledky z terénní dokumentace zpracuje autor v obrazovém katalogu. |
| Preliminary scope of work in English |
| This thesis explores the cultural and historical background of Shrines of the Crucifixion, how they appeared, and what purpose they served. Works of monumental masonry and architecture are examined from the point of view of their artistic, design, and cult significance. On the basis of a field survey extending to the boundaries of the districts of Pardubice, Chrudim, Ústí nad Orlicí and Svitavy, the author has created a typology of Shrines of the Crucifixion within the region in question and assesses how they developed in terms of their construction over the years. The work also deals with the iconography featured in what decoration has been preserved on these shrines. The author has compiled the results from the field documentation in a pictorial catalogue. |
