| Základním tématem mé práce je postihnout vývoj ikonografie andělských bytostí od raně křesťankého umění po současnost a nastínit problematiku angelologie v dějinách církve. Můj zájem je směřován především na období baroku. Snažím se podrobněji přiblížit význam andělů v barokním prostředí a vliv jejich kultu na české výtvarné umění. |

| The basic intention of my thesis is to describe the evolution of the angel iconography from the early christian art to the present and to outline the problematic of angelology in the history of the Church with special focus on the baroque era. Thesis also details the significance of angels in the baroque world and the impact of their cult onto the czech art |
