Animat je softwarový agent, který ve virtuálním prostředí imituje chování živé bytosti. Každý animat má virtuální tělo podléhající “fyzikálním” pravidlům prostředí. Příkladem animata je postava z počítačové hry.
Aby se animati mohli rozhodovat, jaké akce budou vykonávat, potřebují mechanismus výběru akcí. Jelikož je prostředí dynamické a nepředvídatelné, není vhodným mechanismem klasické plánování. Často se používá tzv. reaktivní plánování – i to má ovšem určitá omezení. Cílem práce je navrhnout obecný mechanismus výběru akcí vycházející z reaktivního plánování, avšak odstraňující některá jeho omezení, a implementovat prototyp. Jedná se práci typu „výzkumný problém“. |
