Preliminary scope of work

Prostorová kognice je často používaný model pro výzkum paměti a učení obecně. Behaviorální testy využívající počítačovou aparaturu umožňují snadnou modifikaci experimentu a širokou škálu prezentovaných stimulů.
Cílem práce bude využít tento experimentální design pro výzkum kognitivních funkcí potkana (Rattus norvegicus) při abstrahování geometrických vztahů mezi vizuálními stimuly prezentovanými na počítačovém monitoru.

Preliminary scope of work in English

Spatial cognition of animals is often used model for study of memory and learning. Behavioral tests using computer apparatus allow us to modify easily experiment and present wide range of visual stimuli.
The aim of the thesis will be to use such experimental design to study cognitive functions of rats (Rattus norvegicus) in generalization of geometric relations between visual stimuli presented on a computer screen.
