Preliminary scope of work |

Research Question: How do the Media in China and South Korea construct the topic of “Moral Shaming of Women”?
The purpose of the thesis is to describe the media coverage about the moral shaming to women in China and South Korea. The hypothesis of the thesis is that there are similarities in the Chinese and South Korean media coverages about moral shaming to women that might ground in the broader context of East Asian Confucianism, but there are also differences due to the different social and cultural directions of the two countries. |
