Preliminary scope of work

Disertační práce je plánovaná jako kolekce publikovaných článků. Disertační práce bude navazovat na nejnovější poznatky z oblasti ekonomické geografie a bude zkoumat efekty veřejných výdajových programů podporujících malé a střední podnikání v různých typech regionů. Výzkum bude hledat faktory úspěchu/neúspěchu a klade si za cíl přinést také nové implikace pro koncipování inovačních politik.
RQ1: What are the long-term effects of SME subsidies across the regions of the Czech Republic?
RQ2: In what types of regions do SME subsidies have a greater potential to be successful?
RQ3: What is the effect of SME subsidies based on their position within the Global Production Network?
RQ4: Is it possible to efficiently match SMEs with the right funding programmes?
