Preliminary scope of work
Bakterie zprostředkují řadu významných ekosystémových procesů, které v půdě probíhají. Přestože máme základní představu o tom, co jejich výskyt v půdě ovlivňuje, chybí informace o tom, jaké faktory strukturují jejich společenstva na regionální a globální úrovni. Tato práce by měla přispět k sumarizaci údajů o faktorech, které výskyt bakterií v půdách ovlivňují a zodpovědět otázku, jak silné jsou rozdíly ve složení společenstev bakterií mezi světovými regiony. Práce bude vypracována na základě literární rešerše a v případě zájumu poskytne východisko pro navazující diplomovou práci.
Preliminary scope of work in English
Bacteria mediate a range of important ecosystem processes that occur in the soil. While we have some basic understanding about the factors that determine the composition of bacterial communities in soils, the information about factors that structure theur communities on regional and global level is largely missing. This work should help to summarize the known reports on the factors that affect the occurrence of bacterial taxa in soils and to answer the questions about the regional differences in global bacterial communities. The work will be based on literature survey and in the case that the student decides, it will represent a useful first step towards a diploma thesis project.
