Preliminary scope of work
Jednotlivé skupiny virů se odlišují typem genomu a svým životním cyklem.
Buněčné sensory rozpoznávají paterny patogenů a spouštějí signální dráhy vedoucí k produkci interferonu a dalších prozánětlivých cytokinů.
Preliminary scope of work in English
Viral families varies by the type of genome and their life cycle.
Cellular sensors recognize pathogen patterns and trigger signaling pathways leading to the production of interferon and other pro-inflammatory cytokines.
These proteins can also act as viral restriction factors.
Recently, knowledge about interactions between viruses and sensors, such as IFI16 or cGAS, has been constantly increasing.
The work will focus on the selected protein and its function during viral infection.
