| Cílem diplomové práce Pohřební obřady: liturgické texty a praxe kněží je analyzovat praxi katolických kněží při vedení pohřebních obřadů a srovnat realitu s normativním uspořádáním obsaženým v liturgické knize Pohřební obřady.
V práci bude čtenář nejprve uveden do historie křesťanského pohřbu až po dnešní praxi po 2. vatikánském konciliu. Práce dále nabídne podrobné představení všech vydání liturgické knihy Pohřební obřady. Další část představí metodu vedení rozhovorů a představení respondentů. Stěžejní část práce bude věnována analýze rozhovorů, kde se budu podrobně věnovat praxi kněží i jejich názorům na knihu Pohřební obřady. Závěr práce bude věnován několika důležitým otázkám, které vyplynou z rozhovorů a její analýzy. |

| The aim of the thesis Funeral Rites: Liturgical Texts and Priestly Practice is to analyse the practice of Catholic priests in conducting funeral rites and to compare the reality with the normative arrangement contained in the liturgical book Funeral Rites.
In this work, the reader will first be introduced to the history of Christian funerals to the current practice after the Second Vatican Council. The thesis will also offer a detailed introduction to all editions of the liturgical book Funeral Rites. The subsequent section will present the method of conducting interviews and introducing the respondents. The main part of the thesis will be devoted to the analysis of the interviews, where I will discuss in detail the practice of the priests and their views on the book Funeral Rites. The conclusion of the thesis will be devoted to several important questions that emerge from the interviews and its analysis |
