Guidelines |
The aim of the project is to deepen our understanding of formation and evolution of stellar and compact body content of the innermost (sub-parsec) regions of galactic nuclei, where the supermassive black holes reside. Complex models of galactic nuclei will be intgrated numerically and confronted with observations. Beside searching for characteristic patterns that may be observable via electromagnetic radiation, predictions of gravitational wave signal for upcoming detectors (eLISA) are supposed to be made. The primary method of investigation is supposed to be direct N-body numerical simulations with use of existing codes. Tuning of the codes in order to improve their efficiency and stability (accuracy) will be a necessary task. |
