Guidelines
Regional climate models coupled with chemistry-transport models are crucial tools for estimation of future climate and air-quality on regional scales. The PhD candidate will learn to work with regional models WRF-Chem, CAMx, RegCM and other necessary tools to perform climate-chemistry coupled model simulations. The aim of simulations is to investigate changes in tropospheric chemistry and the resulting air quality, especially in terms of ozone and aerosol burden, under different climate change and pollutant emissions scenarios.
