Preliminary scope of work

Cílem práce bude popsat faktory regulující expresi RNA polymerázy u mykobakterií. Zároveň budeme pomocí RNA-seq zjišťovat, jak jak množství RNA polymerázy ovlivňuje transkriptom u Mycobacterium smegmatis. Práce bude zaměřena i na vztah mezi množstvím RNA polymerázy v buňce a rezistencí na rifampicin.

Preliminary scope of work in English

The aim of the thesis will be to describe the factors which regulate the expression of RNA polymerase in mycobacteria. Also, we will use the RNA-sequencing method to find out how the amount of RNA polymerase affects the transcriptome of Mycobacterium smegmatis. Additionally, we will focus on the relationship between the amount of RNA polymerase in a cell and rifampicine resistance.
