Kompartmentalizace je klíčovou vlastností eukaryotických buněk. Všeobecně známé kompartmenty jsou ohraničeny membránami, avšak nejnověji se objevují také studie bezmembránových organel vznikajících na principu fázové separace kapalin. Bakalářská práce bude shrnutím oobecných poznatků o bezmembránových organelách a detailnější analýzou některých již známých připadů takových organel.
Preliminary scope of work in English
Compartmentalisation is one of the most universal features of eukaryotic cells. Although the best known compartments are formed within membrane-bound organelles, there is a growing evidence of so-called membraneless organelles established mainly by the principles of liquid-liquid phase separation. Interestingly, these organelles preserve the ability of dynamic molecule exchange with cytosol, while they are also capable of cumulating molecules of the same type. In some cases, they are not just storage compartments but rather fulfill specific function within the cell, including some enzymatic reactions. The thesis should summarize the general characteristics of membraneless organelles while picking out a few significant representatives.
