Preliminary scope of work

Cílem diplomové práce „Český jazyk v agendách od 15. do 20. století“ je odpovědět na otázku, jaké místo měl při udílení svátostí český jazyk a jak se jeho použití v průběhu vývoje měnilo.
V práci bude nejprve představen vývoj slavení a udělování svátostí a jejich písemné záznamy. Práce dále nabídne vhled do nejstarších liturgických knih a představí Římské edice Rituale Romanum a včetně jejich srovnání. Další část bude věnována jazyku, v němž byla liturgie slavena a zapisována. Stěžejní část bude zaměřena na představení jednotlivých liturgických textů publikovaných v agendách vydaných na českém území v 15. – 20. století. Následně bude provedeno celkové shrnutí textů a jejich srovnání také s edicemi Rituale Romanum.

Preliminary scope of work in English

The scope of the the thesis "Czech Language in Rituals from the 15th to the 20th Century" is to answer the question about the role of the Czech language in the administration of sacraments and describe its evolution during the time. I'll first introduce the development of celebrating and granting the sacraments and their written records. I'll offer insight into the oldest liturgical books and present the Roman editions of Rituale Romanum and their comparison. In the next section I'll focus on the language in which the liturgy was celebrated and recorded. Furthermore, I'll focus on the actual presentation of each individual liturgical text published in rituals issued in Czech lands from the 15th to 20th century. Then I will summarize all the texts and also compare them with the Rituale Romanum editions.
