Bakuloviry jsou vynikajícím nástrojem pro produkci rekombinantních proteinů v hmyzích buňkách a mohou sloužit jako dopravní systémy pro dopravu genů pro savčích buněk i pro další aplikace. Pseudotypování je zajímavá strategie, která může rozšířit aplikační potenciál těchto virů. Bakalářská práce by měla poskytnout přehled o těchto strategiích a aplikacích.

Baculoviruses serve as an excellent tool for production of recombinant protein in insect cells and they have recently emerged as a novel and attractive gene delivery vehicles for mammalian cells. Pseudotyping is a potent strategy to change the spectra of the application of these viruses. The bachelor thesis should overview the field.
