Cílem práce je porovnat normy reakce v závislosti poměru pohlaví na teplotě inkubace mezi jednotlivými druhy plazů a určit tak evoluční rychlost jejich změn a tak posoudit evolvabilitu druhů s tímto způsobem určení pohlaví. Dále budou v experimentální části práce testovány hypotézy nakolik je pohlaví jedince určeno konstantní teplotou během inkubace a nakolik reaguje na krátkodobou akutní stresovou zátěž či hladiny steroidních hormonů.
Preliminary scope of work in English
The aim of the thesis is to compare thermal norms of reactions in sex determination between particular reptile species and to determine evolutionary rates of their parameters and thus evolvability of lineages with environmental sex determination. In the experimental part, there will be tested the effect of constant incubation temperature as well as of short-term acute stress and steroid hormones.
