| Bakalářská práce „Ježíš kráčí vodě“ se věnuje jedné z perikop Matoušova evangelia a je zaměřena zejména na postavu apoštola Petra a snaží se přiblížit jeho život po boku Ježíše.
První kapitola zahrnuje základní charakteristiku Matoušova evangelia včetně historie doby vzniku evangelia, jsou zde informace o celkové struktuře evangelia, o pramenech, ze kterých Matouš čerpal a vycházel, o autorovi samotném, o čtenářské obci, které bylo evangelium adresováno. Druhá kapitola je rozdělena do dvou částí, první část je věnována obecné charakteristice apoštola Petra, jeho původu, čím se živil, o jeho společenském zařazení, místu, odkud pocházel, kde žil, o jeho rodném a přijatém jménu. V druhé části druhé kapitoly jsou rozebrány vybrané petrovské perikopy (Mt 4,18–20; 16,13–20; 17,24–27; 18,21–22) s přihlédnutím k úloze a významu Petra v nich. Stěžejní část práce se věnuje rozboru ústřední perikopy „Ježíš kráčí po moři“ (14,2–33) a zapojení apoštola Petra do příběhu, jeho významu a jeho jedinečné úloze v křesťanských dějinách a v rané církvi. Třetí kapitola srovnává perikopu „Ježíš kráčí po moři“, jak je uvedena v Matoušově evangeliu, s Markovým a Janovým evangeliem, v čem se liší, v čem se shodují, jaká je teologie evangelistů. Závěr práce je pak věnován zhodnocení přesahu apoštola Petra do spirituální teologie a duchovního života a poselství apoštola Petra pro dnešní dobu. |

| One of the Matthew´s Gospel pericopes is the main subject of this Bachelor thesis entitled „Jesus walking on the water“. The thesis focuses in particular in the personality of the apostle Peter and aims to depict his life by Jesus´ side.
The first chapter comprises of basic characteristics of the Matthew´s Gospel including the history of the times of its origin. The chapter contains information about the overal structure of the Gospels, sources used by Matthew, the author himself and about the readership this Gospel was addressed to. Second chapter consists of two parts. The first of them follows up apostle´s Peter general characterisics, as his origin, his profession and social classification, place where he was born and lived and his original name as well as the name he gained. Selected Peter´s pericopes (Mt 4,18–20; 16,13–20; 17,24–27; 18,21–22) are analyzed in the second part of the second chapter taking into account Peter´s mission and his significance in them. The key part of this thesis deals with the main pericope´s „Jesus walking on the sea“ (14,2–33) analysis and apostle´s Peter involvement in it, his importance and his unique role in the Christian history and early Church. The third chapter of the thesis compares „Jesus walking on the sea“ pericope as it is described in Matthew´s Gospel with Mark´s Gospel and Gospel of John. It names their differences and similarities, and it explains the evangelists theologies. The conclusion of the thesis is an evaluation of apostle´s Peter overlap into spiritual theology and spiritual life and his message for today´s word. |
