Desmin je protein, který tvoří stavební podjednotky intermediárních filament III. typu a vyskytuje se v kosterní, hladké i srdeční svalovině. Cílem bakalářské práce bude shrnout současné poznatky o úloze desminu v srdci.

Preliminary scope of work in English

Desmin is a protein that forms the structural subunits of intermediate filaments III. type and occurs in skeletal, smooth and cardiac muscle. The aim of the thesis will be a review of the current knowledge about the role of desmin in the heart.
