Přehled taxonomické struktury rodu Sicista v současné fauně Evropy a přilehlých oblastí (včetně Kavkazu a Zakavkazí), fenotypová diversita (taxonově specifické znaky a zhodnocení jejich proměnlivosti) vs. molekulární fylogenetika a molekulární fylogeografie. Fosilní záznam rodu - kompletní excerpce literárních dokladů a diskuse jejich taxonomické relevance a časového rozložení. Souborný rozbor historického pozadí areálové dynamiky rodu.
Preliminary scope of work in English
A survey of taxonomic content of the genus Sicista in the Recent fauna of the Western Palearctics (including Caucasus and Transcaucasia), its phenotype diversity (taxon-specific characters and their variation) vs. signals of the molecular phylogeny and molecular phylogeography. Fossil record of the genus - a complete list of the literary records with comments on taxonomic relevance of particular items and stratigraphic contexts. Concluding analyses of the range dynamics of the genus and its historical factors.
