Práce se zabývá biblickou koncepcí Ježíšova vzkříšení a zkoumá, jak se ve výchozích textech vztahuje k oblasti posledních věcí člověka, světa a jeho dějin. Přehledovým způsobem mapuje výskyt souvisejících koncepcí v literatuře dobového pohanského světa a ve Starém zákoně, ale hlavní pozornost věnuje exegetickému rozboru vybraných míst Nového zákona. Ukazuje, že v řeči o Ježíšově zmrtvýchvstání novozákonní autoři navazují na biblický motiv zachraňující Boží moci. Když líčí eschatologické důsledky tohoto zmrtvýchvstání, nechávají plně rozvinout to, k čemu ve Starém zákoně pouze směřoval. Práce ukazuje, že Nový zákon chápe Ježíšovo zmrtvýchvstání jako výjimečný Boží zásah do dějin, který brzy vyústí do všeobecného vzkříšení, vysvobození a dosažení spravedlnosti pro všechny. Tento zásah nicméně nepřestává ve světě působit, a kromě toho také dodává naději a důvěru ve Stvořitele, že se rozhodl vyplnit svá zaslíbení vůči člověku a dovršit dílo stvoření.
Preliminary scope of work in English
The thesis examines the concept of Jesus' resurrection and explores how it relates to the last things of man, the world and its history in the biblical texts. It surveys the occurrence of related concepts in the writing of the pagan world and the Old Testament; however, the main focus of the thesis lies in the exegetical analysis of selected places in the New Testament. It is argued that when the New Testament writers speak of Jesus' resurrection, they follow the biblical motif of God's saving power. When they depict the eschatological implications of the resurrection, they fully develop what the motif in the Old Testament merely pointed toward. The thesis demonstrates that the New Testament writers understand Jesus' resurrection as a unique God's intervention in history that will soon culminate in a general resurrection, deliverance, and achieving justice for all. However, such intervention does not cease to work in the world; it also inspires hope and confidence in the Creator that he has already chosen to fulfill his promises to man and complete the work of creation.
