Guidelines |
Modern requirements to ensure public safety in buildings with a complex structure imply the existence of systems that can detect and position emergency situation, inform rescue and tenants about the status and help them to either evacuate or eliminate the danger. The main approach to create indoor emergency system is based on Wireless Sensor Network. The thesis aims to result in design and optimization of an approach for reliable mesh network nodes placement indoors specifically tailored to act as an emergency system, delivering critical information successfully.
The student shall review the following topics in his thesis: - review recent literate and compare various methods for indoor wireless sensor system placement - develop algorithms for efficient and reliable mesh network nodes placement - simulate developed algorithms on case studies and compare results with already known algorithms The thesis will be written in English. |
