Cílem práce je paleoekologická analýza a rekonstrukce paleoprostředí mělkovodních asociací útesotvorných organizmů (koráli a rudisti) z příbřežních lokalit v okolí Teplic (Písečný vrch a okolí). Práce bude zaměřena na systematické zhodnocení fauny, interpretace paleoekologických nároků jednotlivých útesotvorných organizmů, determinace stratigraficky významných taxonů a celková rekonstrukce paleoprostředí. Důležitým výstupem bude také posouzení stratigrafické příslušnosti lokalit. Harmonogram prací bude následující: studium a kompletace literatury, studium muzejních kolekcí (Regionální muzeum Teplice, sbírky geologické služby a Muzea přírodní historie ve Vídni, Národního muzea v Praze a sbírek Chlupáčova muzea PřF UK), intenzivní terénní práce, laboratorní zpracování a fotodokumentace, statistické analýzy, kompletace výsledků.
Preliminary scope of work in English
Palaeoecological analysis and the reconstruction of shallower water reef-builder association (corals, rudists) and their palaeoenvironment from near-shore localities in Teplice town vicinity (Písečný vrch and its vicinity) are the main aims of the thesis. The work focuses to the systematic revision of fauna, interpretation of palaeoecological dependences of each groups of reef-builders, the determination of stratigraphically important taxa and the overall reconstruction of the palaeoenvironment. A very important aspect, it will be the consideration of the stratigraphy of localities. The schedule is following: literature study, study of collections in the important museums (Regional Museum in Teplice, collections of the Austrian Geological Survey and the Museum of Natural History in Vienna, National Museum in Prague and Chlupáč´s museum at Faculty of Science, UK in Prague), intensive field works, laboratory analysis and documentation, statistic analysis, results completion.
