Preliminary scope of work
Cílem zkoumání tématu svatosti a osobnosti Jana Pavla II. je hledat odpovědi na otázku: jak papež interpretuje teologii svatosti, jaké aspekty a charaktery svatosti zdůrazňuje? Zkoumání tématu svatosti se ukázalo být velkou výzvou. Jde o velmi široký a hojně reflektovaný pojem. Podobně se lze vyjádřit o psaných dílech zpracovaných o papeži Janu Pavlu II. v nejrůznějších jazycích a tématech. Proto je nutné zúžit postup práce, jenž by vystihl svatost v určitém pojetí a zároveň umožnil řešit otázku v konkrétním a relevantním rozsahu. Zpracování práce bude řešit jednak vhled do momentů života a spirituality této osobnosti, dále také využije perspektiv Druhého vatikánského koncilu zejména Lumen Gentium a Gaudium et Spes. Zpracování analýzy aspektů z vybraných encyklik papeže nabídne pohled na svatost jako spojení s Kristem v Duchu svatém. Tento přístup umožní nahlížet rozvoj duchovního života křesťana, jeho sjednocení s Bohem.
Preliminary scope of work in English
The aim of exploring the theme of holiness and the personality of John Paul II is to seek answers to the question: How does the Pope interpret the theology of holiness; what aspects and characters of holiness does he emphasise? Exploring the theme of holiness has proved to be a great challenge. It is a very broad and widely reflected concept. Similar comments can be made about the written works related to Pope John Paul II in a variety of languages and themes. Therefore, it is necessary to narrow down a course of work that would portray holiness in a particular concept while allowing the question to be addressed in a specific and relevant scope. The elaboration of the thesis will address both the insight into moments of the life and spirituality of this personality, as well as use the perspectives of the Second Vatican Council, especially Lumen Gentium and Gaudium et Spes. The elaboration of an analysis of aspects from selected encyclicals of the Pope will offer a view of holiness as a union with Christ in the Holy Spirit. This approach will allow us to view the development of the spiritual life of the Christian, his union with God.
