Preliminary scope of work

Práce se bude zabývat srovnáním populačně genetické struktury vybraných druhů řasníků rodu Stylops a jejich hostitelů (včel rodu Andrena). Na základě zjištěných vztahů bude diskutovat vlivy hostitelské asociace, biografie a ekologie na speciaci těchto druhů. Použity budou mikrosatelitové markery a variabilní úseky jaderných genů (především informativní introny).

Preliminary scope of work in English

The aim of this thesis is to compare population genetic structure of selected species of twisted-winged parasites of genus Stylops and their hosts (genus Andrena bees). Based on detected coevolutionary structures, the thesis will discuss presumable effects of host association, biogeography and ecology on speciation of these species. Microsatellite markers and hypervariable nuclear regions (mainly informative intron parts) will be used.
