Preliminary scope of work |
Preliminary scope of work in English |
The thesis is focused on the study of counterion condensation (Cs+) on the polyelectrolyte chain (polyacrylic acid, PAA) in aqueous solution. The PAA sample is labeled by a naphthyl moiety placed at the end of the chain, which allows for study of the condensation process by means of naphtyl fluorescence quenching by Cs+ ions. |
