| Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá životem a uměleckou tvorbou významného grafika 17. století, Jacquese Callota, který žil v letech 1592–1635. Shrnuje literaturu o J.Callotovi od 17. století až po současnost, poskytuje přehled historického kontextu, ve kterém tento umělec žil a tvořil, a který se výrazně odrazil v jeho dílech. Práce postupně popisuje Callotův život, techniku jeho uměleckého stylu a její vývoj, stejně jako osobnosti a vlivy, které přispěly k formování jeho umělecké identity.
Jednotlivé kapitoly práce se věnují přehledu Callotových cyklů a grafik, které jsou rozděleny do tematických okruhů. Tyto okruhy se zaměřují na městský a dvorský styl, satiru, venkovské náměty, válečné motivy a náboženská témata. Každý okruh popisuje konkrétní díla a zkoumá jejich význam a kontext, ve kterém vznikala. |
| Preliminary scope of work in English |
| This bachelor´s thesis is engaged in a life and creation of a significant graphic artisto f seventeenth- century, Jacques Callot, who lived in 1592–1635. This thesis summarizes a literature about J.Callot since seventeenth-century up to the present day. It also provides a overview of a historical context which considerably influenced his artwork. The thesis progressively describes Callot´s life, a technique of his art style and its development as well as personages and impact that contributed to a formation of his artistic identity.
Individual chapters are dedicated to a overview of Callot´s cycles and graphics that are sorted in thematic subject. These subject are directed at a town and courtly style, a satire, country subjects, war topics and religious themes. Each section describes particular art pieces and also explores their meaning and context in which were created. |
