Preliminary scope of work
Cílem této řešeršní práce je shrnutí poznatků o vzájemném ovlivnění dvou blízkých bakteriálních kolonií buď stejného nebo různého biologického druhu. Tyto kolonie se mohou v růstu buď vzájemně inhibovat, nebo stimulovat. Práce by měla pojednat o signálních molekulách, které mohou bakteriální kolonie využívat pro komunikaci. Dále budou popsány mechanismy, kterými si mohou kolonie konkurovat o živiny.
Preliminary scope of work in English
The aim of this work is to resume retrieval of knowledge about mutual influence of two nearby bacterial colonies either the same or of different species. These colonies can either inhibit or stimulate each other. Student should discuss the signaling molecules that can be used for bacterial colonies communication. Next will be described the mechanism by which colonies can compete for nutrients.
