Preliminary scope of work |
Preliminary scope of work in English |
Viral particles are the promising tool for the targeted delivery of diagnostic and therapeutic compounds to the specific cell types and tissues. The work should critically review the role of virus/ receptor interaction in determination of viral tropism and analyze the current knowledge of the processes of virus binding , internalization and exocytosis in respect to the possible applications in viral based delivery systems. Specifically, the work should analyze the published literature for well-grounded data to answer the following questions: I. whether the viral system can offer sufficient specificity, selectivity and efficiency for targeted delivery ii. Whether the viral system can be retargeted on demand (for example to cancer cells). |
