Guidelines
The student should first to study pertinent literature.
Second he should program the method of calculation of atomic integrals
and apply it to complex scaling of Floquet Hamiltonian.
Third he should develop method for solution of Hamilton-Jacobi equation.

Preliminary scope of work in English
Recently there has been much interest, both theoretical and experimental,
in behavior of the atoms in laser fields, see e.g. [1,2] and references therein.
This is important e.g. for further improvement
of coherent and ultrashort laser pulses as well as plasma generation.
The aim of doctoral thesis is twofold.
First, to use the numerically stable method of calculation of the
atomic integrals developed by supervisor and his coworkers [3]
to complex scaling of Floquet Hamiltonian [2,4].
Second, to extend the WKB method
for calculation of the ionization rate of the atoms by static external
electromagnetic fields developed by supervisor and his coworkes [5]
to time-dependent fields.
If succesfull, both developments would represent a substantial progress
in the field.
